 "MASCHERA" - (poesia ai tempi della pandemia)
Alcune gocce di saliva caddero sul vetro.
E per te improvvisamente starnutii senza maschera.
Siamo entrambi isolati in una città,
E ci vediamo raramente, a due metri di distanza.
Mi sembra persino un po’ strano,
Come è arrivato questo autunno e questo inverno:
Facce cupe sotto le maschere e nel mezzo, piogge prive di virus… che inferno.
E il vecchio detto di Eraclito (ma per che diamine l’ho ricordato oggi?)
"Le persone sane stanno insieme nel mondo, mentre gli infetti vivono soli."
In quale incubo siamo caduti così malamente,
tanto da non riuscire a svegliarci?
Alcune gocce di saliva caddero sul vetro
e mi sono precipitata a mettermi una maschera.

A few drops of saliva fell on the glass,
And for you suddenly I’m sneezing without a mask.
We are both isolated in a city,
And we rarely see each other, at a distance of two meters away.
It even seems a bit strange to me how did this fall and this winter come:
Dark faces under the masks and in the middle, virus-free rains... what a hell.
And the old saying of Heraclitus (but for what the heck did I remember it today?)
"Healthy people stay together in the world, while the infected live isolated and alone."
What nightmare have we fallen into so bad enough to not be able to wake up?
