 Il monastero di Visoki Dečani si trova in Kosovo, tra le città di Peć e Gjakovë. Creato nel XIV secolo sotto il regno del re Stefano III Decanski, la sua costruzione avvenne tra il 1327 e il 1335. Due oggetti con figure all'interno, possono essere visti negli angoli in alto a destra e sinistra dell'affresco, questo si trova sopra l'altare nel monastero dei Visoki Decani in Kosovo. Era raffigurato su una larnax d'oro trovata in una tomba reale del IV secolo a.C. appartenente a Filippo II o Filippo III di Macedonia, rispettivamente padre e fratellastro di Alessandro Magno.

The illustration depicts a sighting that took place at 21:45 on August 18, 1783 when 4 witnesses on the terrace of Windsor Castle observed a luminous object in the skies of the Home Counties of England. The sighting was recorded the following year in the "Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society". According to this report, the witnesses observed an oblong cloud moving more or less parallel to the horizon. Under this cloud one could observe a luminous object, more or less spherical, brilliant, which stopped; this strange sphere seemed to be initially of a pale blue color, but then its brightness increased and headed east. Then the object changed direction and moved parallel to the horizon before disappearing to the south-east; the light it emanated was prodigious; it illuminated everything on the ground. The image was recorded by Thomas Sandby (a founder of the Royal Academy) and his brother Paul, both witnesses of this event.
