"Nature manages itself perfectly without human intervention. Brutal as it is, it is pulled along by a flawless chain of symbiotic interactions. Plants breathe life into the planet and bear food for herbivores > Herbivores eat the foods the plants offer > If too many herbivores roamed the planet, there would be a shortage of plants, and thus a lack of oxygen, so their population is (brutally) kept in check by climate and by carnivores and omnivores > All creatures involved in this cycle excrete their waste into the earth which, in turn, grows more plants to breathe life into the planet and bear food. The cycle repeats eternally. This is, quite simply, 'the circle of life'. Humans, however, do not have any kind of symbiotic relationship with nature. They just take, take, take, and destroy everything in their path, without a single positive outcome. They do not give anything back to nature, unless it is a sort of redemption for something they have destroyed themselves. So tell me again how humans are "a part of nature", or "top of the food chain" or involved in "the circle of life"? Last time I checked, hacking down rainforests to fatten up systematically bred cows to be turned into Big Macs, and then shitting them out into an underground sewage system didn't have anything to do with nature, the food chain, or the circle of life. These are just bullshit terms we have been led to believe so that we think what we're doing plays some kind of role in the ecosystem, when actually, all we do is the opposite. These terms now epitomise human greed, rather than having anything to do with what they are actually supposed to mean. Given that humans play no beneficial role in nature, humans are parasites, rather than animals. Nature would do just fine without humans. Please stop thinking humans are in any way special to this planet. You are not!
